Editorial policy
Genuine Food Review aims to make food information easier to read without overstating what labels or product descriptions can prove. We distinguish factual description, interpretation and opinion, and correct material errors openly.
Accuracy and context
We check wording against the material being discussed and explain the limits of what it can show. A package claim is not treated as independent proof of a product's broader qualities. Where an article cannot establish a point, we say so rather than filling the gap with guesswork.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears, and a partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Corrections
Readers can use the Contact page to identify a possible error and provide the relevant detail. When we confirm a material mistake, we correct the affected wording and make the change clear to readers.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. They are illustrative rather than documentary, and are not presented as photographs or evidence of a particular food or product.
